Importance of Motivation in Network Marketing

The importance of motivation in network marketing is the top priority. Once you have done your due diligence and found the company that best fits your needs- it’s time to begin. If you have never owned your own business before, your life is about to change. You already know that 97% fail (or quit). How do you stay motivated?

Do your homework! The first step is finding the right company. Motivation has nothing to do with success if you’re in the wrong company. About twenty years ago I was in a MLM company and I was highly motivated. The product was awesome. I couldn’t stop talking to everyone I knew about it. I was a sponsoring maniac and loved what I did. The bomb dropped when I finally understood why I couldn’t make a substantial amount of money. The company finally disappeared and it was over. It wasn’t my fault.

Let’s assume for a moment you are in one of the best MLM companies in today’s market. Of course, a company that good will come with a complete plan of attack and many techniques to stay motivated. Otherwise, you wouldn’t be there anyway because of the homework you did. Now, is it important to be motivated? Your mindset has to be on your business constantly. This is network marketing! The moment an opportunity arises you have to be on your toes or you will lose that chance forever. You must have the tools of doing business on you at all times- Mental and physical.

How do you stay motivated? Eat healthy and exercise. Stay away from the negative people that drag you down. Read and listen to motivational books and recordings. Know your company inside and out. Know your companies products inside and out. Know who to call at all times when you need advice. Don’t do it alone. Get a mentor.
