How I joined People not a Company

People join people not companies or products! Otherwise... BIG mistake for both network marketing parties.

Training: My sponsor lead me to a training site that did not pitch products or companies. I couldn't believe it..No sales pitch at all just TRAINING. Anyway, I was in a company and needed help attracting prospects. The company I was with did not teach that on-line. I had to go to a meeting room once per week and pay to attend. I had to go to other meetings throughout the state and also pay to attend. I should rephrase that~ I had to pay to attend if I wanted the training. Needless to say, when I joined that MLM company, it was the company I was attracted to. I later found out that the product is only 1/5 of a successful MLM company. They did not have a ON-LINE duplicate-able system to generate leads.

The Problems.. I did not know my sponsor or get to know him. He vanished before my eyes. I loved the company's service but did not like the comp plan at all! It is a sponsor.. sponsor.. sponsor company. Quit sponsoring and you are dead in the water. To make $10K per month I needed around 4500 people in my organization. I was struggling to recruit 1 at a time. I found out that their are MLM companies that only needed 500 people in your organization to make $10K per month.

The People I have met: Since reaching out for training I met some great people to help me with all the on-line training I could consume. Plus..It is all free! Some people spend thousands of dollars on the same training I get for free. I used it with the company I was with for awhile until I realized I was in the wrong MLM company. Now, after finding the perfect MLM company, I owe it all to the people I met on the way through my own thoughts. I joined PEOPLE!

Because of the economy, many people are starting home-based businesses so they can work from home and be with their families. People are joining MLM because of the opportunity to leverage their time which leaves more time with the ones they love. To Live the Dream!

WATCH OUT! There are snakes out there ready to bite you. There are a few rules you must know before entering in the MLM world.

1) Don’t join a company! Join people. Let me explain if you’re not exactly sure what I mean. People buy from people they like and whose recommendations they trust. It is called Attraction Marketing. People trust those that they know. This was the concept years ago in network marketing also. However, with the Internet we have an opportunity to allow many more people “get to know us.”

2) Don’t get your wallet out yet! Get some free training before taking the leap. Most people want to jump in before they get their toes wet. They realize that it isn’t that easy even after spending thousands on a proven system. Then they quit because it isn’t working for them. Free Training

3) Know the 5 pillars! If any MLM company doesn’t have the 5 pillars to success then most likely the company will fail you and leave you stranded. Here they are briefly: Pillar 1: Company management experience with integrity. The CEO or owner of the company needs to have experience in the field. Pillar 2: Timing in the company and timing in the industry. How long have they been in business? Pillar 3: You need a remarkable product. You have to have a really great product that everyone can use. Pillar 4: Compensation plans. You have got to have a compensation plan that pays the part time worker since the majority of MLM-ers are part time. Pillar 5: Have a proven duplicate-able system that will allow your people to duplicate the system after you quit building the business.

How to annoy people in network marketing part 2



The first part was to express my feelings toward the Cold facts of COLD CALLING. Cold calling is the process of approaching prospective customers or clients, typically via telephone, who were not expecting such an interaction. The word "cold" is used because the person receiving the call is not expecting a call or has not specifically asked to be contacted by a sales person.

What happens when you Cold Call? -Most people are annoyed with this type of contact. -It's a total waste of your time because it makes you spend time looking under rocks for uninterested prospects instead of spending time doing more productive things. -It positions you as a desperate peddler instead of a helpful expert.

You would think that this type of marketing is OLD SCHOOL but it is not. Some companies are still trying to convince you that this is what you have to do to make a go of it. They are still teaching new people scripts to overcome all the objections and smoke blowing the prospects are dishing out.

What does cold calling do for YOU? At the end of the day, you feel rejected and this makes you just want to get out there and do it all over again tomorrow, right? It makes many people become lazy. Yes, that's right.. lazy. Since most people don't like rejection, they mismanage their time. They organize their office, count their paper clips, and do anything they can but deal with rejection. When I discovered the alternatives to cold calling, I finally understood why I hated it. Does this sound familiar? Do you struggle with cold calling and dealing with 100 No's? How to annoy people in network marketing part 1

Network marketing is a term used for marketing a product or service. You can also use the term "Relationship marketing" to help describe the meaning. In network marketing, you don't have to invest in land, buildings, parking, inventory, staff, cash registers, etc. That is one of the greatest aspects of Network marketing.

Their are a lot of people in network marketing that obviously don't know the meaning of networking. It isn't a business that you just jump into and blast the word out and try to sell EVERYONE on your product or service~ although the enthusiasm is commended.

The following are points to do if you really want to annoy your prospects.




1) Cold Call. Tell everybody about your product or service!
Very annoying to the prospect. Don't do it!

That's right. One step to annoying people. One big NO NO.
What do I mean by this you ask? You want people asking you about your business.

How do you like it when someone approaches you about something you have no interest in? Then they won't stop until the entire speech is done. Wouldn't it be nice to only talk to the people that want to be in your business? It can be done with the right system.

One more thing! Quit spending money on hopes and dreams. Before you change companies or join a company get some help from the best in the business without taking your wallet out of your pocket. Very simple method! Don't spend a dime until you do the following:
