Is Network Marketing a Numbers Game?

When I sold vacuums back in 1985, they always told me it was a numbers game.
Start early and work until the day is gone. I was dead tired by Wednesday.
The more you talk to the more you will sell.
I have been in Network marketing dating back to 1990.
I was told to make a list of people you know. Everyone you know.
I was told to pitch my business to each and everyone on that list.
I was told It is a NUMBERS GAME!

The Heavy Hitters will still tell you that it is a NUMBERS GAME!
They tell you to talk to everyone you know, everyone you come in contact with
and anyone within 3 foot of you (three foot rule).
I know this for a fact. I was told this by my last MLM company.
Heavy Hitter? OH yea He is. You can't help but look up to him! Million per year (at least).
Good advice? You would think so from a millionaire.
Did it work for me? OMG!! Not at all.

Truth: People are people-Not numbers.
They have passions, Dreams, Goals and Desires.
They have thoughts, feelings and Ideas.
They laugh and they cry.
They are not a number. They are people.

If you treat your prospect like a number you have no future in Network marketing.
This lie teaches you to recruit, recruit, recruit not to sponsor.
This is one reason why 97% QUIT.

To succeed long term you need to become a MENTOR.
You need to become a friend.
Your goal is to make your new friend successful.

You want people knocking on your door asking "Can I be on your Team?"

Numbers Game? NO
Not for a long term walk-away residual income!
